The CD is called: "13/50"
More clearly:
" 13 migrating colonies... In 50 State of minds"
Coincedentally, 13 is an unluck number, but refers to the
original 13 colonies of the Americas.
Then, 50 being only half of 100 or something that
is
whole, (I'm kidding, but deep man
[Adam
for you dude]....) Really, the #50 is
refering to the United States. So, mabey I am
thinking that Costa Rica should become another State .
- ha ha.
Actually,
for me the "13/50" song is about my friends
crazy,
but sometimes cool lives. And, I find great
satisfaction
as a songwriter and person with a soul that
some
of my lryics have more meaning beyond what I
intended.
Like "...Alabama Luther is down by the river
with
a steel guitar.... (well, later I just felt an ease at
heart &
mind, when I thought the river refered to God.
So,
'Alabama Luther' is a friend who is groovy with
God. "13/50"
was originally recorded in 1995, as a real
sad
song. Then I rewrote it to be more upbeat and
happy,
especially with funny names like 'Missisippi
Shannon'.
(Oh it should have been Delafield Diane, But
'Denver
Diane' worked for the record - so check it out
singing
LIVE I'll say Delafield, because Diane was from
there
and said she wanted that. [*all names not real or
intented
to be - a legal eagle thing:)
But,
check it out - cause I think it gives the
"AWAKEINING CHILLS"(tm) to ya' (my written
dream
series cast of character band in the books
of NIGHTMARE CONSPIRACIES(c)(tm) .
