10/03/06 - Kurt goes SOLO. KURT BEREN THE LARGEMOUTH BASS BAND is now hitting the Milwaukee, Waukesha, Walworth area. I hope to get things rolling soon and get a new live set that really encomasses the history of THE LARGEMOUTH BASS BAND. Sometimes its best i work alone when I am dealing with alot of things and transitions. but will jam with other available artists soon. Rumor has it Kevin Newell (mandoline/violin) of SOUPCAN and former member of RED FISH BLUE FISH is in TOSA area. Last Spotted at a wedding. "Who knows maybe theres a partial reunion comming?" -Kurto

**** Drew and Zach and Rachel are doing other music endeavors...Best of LUCK GUYS!!!! Rumor has it Drew gotta sweet studio going on. and Zach is a Jammin groove monster with many bands.

The Shop Studio - Token Creek, WI.

Thanks to Andrew (guitar/drums) we got a new studio in a barn. It is called THE SHOP - and it is in TOKEN CREEK , WI.

We hope to record some great songs in the tranquility of the country land. So we got our LOUD drums out there and I hope to start getting LOUD so we can really play out a kickin' show.

In my vacumme world of Madison
I went to the Parks by the lakes
Then I went to the ANNEX to see the Sand Band.
I danced all night long .

"I got a crush on ???" "I need a hug"
so alot of emotions and tossing and turning.
Cooked up Beer Brats on the gril.
Recorded some new songs...Had a lot pent up inside.
A new poetic level on lyrics and sounds.
"Ducks (Mallards) sleep on my neigbors 2nd story roof top."
Now I feel unrestricted to play beyond solo with the band.
I would've been holding back. I am reluctant to let you here it.
But I think if you over look somethings and laugh it will be great for you.

Grilled up some beer brats - Yum even better with BUD SELECT.
Hope to put in piers on Beulah this weekend Open the cottage
Hope to see friends this summer go fishing or boat rides.
Looking into going back to school - art teaching?
Dreaming I can do it. $$$

11/02/2004 - I have been recording with Andrew, Zach, and (tada!) Rachel [ Drew's new girlfriend].

Rachel has some lungs and knows how to sing.

Soon she might replace me...

Look for "you R who you R #2" a song on an older album which Rachel and Kurt make a Dynamic Duo!

I hope to play out soon. and I got more songs in my heart -
